Spa Managers are responsible for coordinating the day-to-day operation of the business and for planning, monitoring and evaluating the work of the team. The modern spa manager needs well-developed managerial skills, especially in the areas of small business finance, marketing and merchandising. Additionally, the competitive employment environment means salon managers need a good understanding of modern human resource practices.
WHO SHOULD APPLY?
This program will be open to enrolments in 2019 (Victorian campus only) and will be specifically developed for spa managers and therapists who are employed by endota spa.
This program is delivered over 12 months in a blended learning format. You undertake a combination of face-to-face and online learning. Duration may vary depending upon the individual cohort and workplace training arrangements.
$6,000. Payment options are available. Skills First funding is available to eligible Victorian employees of endota spa. This training is delivered with Victorian and Commonwealth Government funding. VET STUDENT LOANS
CMA is an approved provider of VET Student Loans. This means eligible students can defer payment of their tuition fees by accessing a government loan. It forms part of the Higher Education Loan Program (HELP). Students repay their loan through the tax system, once they are earning the minimum threshold level for repayment, which is $51,957 for the 2018-19 income year.
A VET Student Loan remains a personal debt obligation until it is repaid to the Commonwealth. VET Student Loans will only be approved for students who meet the eligibility criteria. Only a limited number of high quality providers have been approved. This means you can be rest assured that CMA is a trusted, quality training provider and your learning is in good hands.
CMA’s online system provides students with access to all their course materials in a single place. This includes textbooks, presentations, images, videos, course notes and inspo sites as well as providing access to assignments and our easy upload system for assessment submission. This compliments your classroom learning and ensures you have all the information you need at your finger tips. Students need to have a tablet or laptop to access CMA’s learning management systems, a mobile phone is not an acceptable device.

Students will need to demonstrate that they hold a level of language, learning and numeracy skills suitable to this course.
RECOGNITION OF PRIOR LEARNING
Previous work experience or training courses may enable us to deem you competent in certain areas, which will allow exemption from some modules. This process is referred to as ‘Recognition of Prior Learning’ (RPL). As a Registered Training Organisation delivering nationally recognised training, CMA can assist you with this process. Please contact the office to request an application form. Application for RPL must occur prior to course commencement.
